Alexandra Stapp is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) with a specialization in lymphedema care. Growing up as an athlete, Alexandra's interest in physical therapy began with her own recovery from soccer-related injuries, often aided by her mother, Jennifer Vonarb, a physical therapist and the clinic's owner
Her passion for lymphedema therapy was sparked when her grandmother underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer, highlighting the need for better lymphedema treatment options. Following in her mother’s footsteps, who pioneered awareness and accessibility for lymphedema therapy in the Thousand Oaks area, Alexandra has dedicated her career to providing high-quality care for patients dealing with this condition.
After earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University, Alexandra worked in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic in Chicago. There, she collaborated closely with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. She treated everything from complex orthopedic injuries to stroke rehabilitation, giving her valuable experience in managing a wide range of cases and refining her ability to create individualized treatment plans.
Now settled in sunny Southern California, Alexandra combines her expertise in lymphedema management with a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation. Her own experiences as a soccer player give her unique insight into sports injuries and the demands of recovery. She continues to bring her passion for lymphedema care and orthopedic therapy to her practice, helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
